Window creator Nicky says “The snowflakes were created, with some assistance, by the young adults that attend a Friday evening youth club at Down Syndrome Training and Support Services called “Wishclub”.Down Syndrome Training and Support Service Ltd is a parent led charity based in Bingley. The charity was established by four sets of parents who noticed a lack of provisions available for their young children with Down Syndrome. Our charitable aims are to assist in the care of children with Down syndrome through the provisions of support, advice, training and relief to those who are responsible for their care and to health and educational specialists with the aim of improving the health and education of children with Down syndrome, whilst also promoting awareness”.
