MAKE IT Bradford – Call for Bradford Makers

Call for Bradford-based designer-makers working in a wide range of handmade disciplines to show and sell work at the MAKE IT Bradford pop-up creative mini market on Saturday 4 May 2024, at Saltaire Arts Trail.

Saltaire Inspired is proud to announce a brand new event for Saltaire Arts Trail 2024, taking place on the opening day, Saturday 4 May in Shipley College’s Salt Building on Victoria Road. MAKE IT Bradford is a one-day pop-up creative market, developed to celebrate the art, craft and design talent specifically within the Bradford district. The market will provide an exclusive opportunity for a selected handful of Bradford-based makers and small businesses of creative visual arts products, to showcase and sell their work to audiences attracted by the Saltaire Arts Trail and local residents, in the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Saltaire, with free entry to all visitors.

We are looking to select high-quality, original work to show and sell at this creative market, with a focus on handmade practices in ceramics, textiles, jewellery, glass, metal, artists’ books, paper, leather, wood, furniture, plastics, fashion textiles and accessories, printmaking, illustration, mixed media and more.

Application deadline is Tuesday 30 Jan 2024. It is free to apply and applications are subject to a selection process to ensure a balanced and varied range of disciplines.
