Dianne Cross Ceramics

Dianne makes handbuilt vases, wall pieces, boxes, bottles and vessel forms with washes of cobalt and copper over a matt white glaze sometimes adding a ‘pop’ of yellow. She wants to evoke a feeling of the sea shore and coastline so these are imagined seascapes/landscapes rather than illustrating a specific view.

Dianne works in her garden studio overlooking the Aire valley and also makes work which reflects the colours in her garden and local moorland.
