Felicity Pocket

A series of narratives through stitched drawings. The work is intentionally simple, has a minimalistic style, slightly surreal  The material is old, recycled cloth, pre-used; the imperfections bring a depth to the work in the simplest of ways.

The work is a collection of themes, the themes change as and when the inspiration changes.  Past work has been ‘iconoclastic’, ‘religion’, ‘women and plants’ and ‘family of dogs’.  Present theme is ‘plantswomen’ based on the artist’s own experience of developing a garden during covid lockdown.
