Stuart Brocklehurst Printmaker

An award winning multi disciplinary printmaker making mezzotint, wood engraving and linocut prints. Working in the Calder Valley his work is rooted in the landscape and natural history of the area. He goes for a walk with a sketchbook and makes drawings and paintings of anything of interest, back in the studio these drawings are worked up and further developed to form the basis of his prints.
