Ian Burdall Painting and Photography

Ian works in oils, pastels and charcoal, concentrating mainly on coastal and industrial areas. The subject matter is more often than not on the east coast of Yorkshire between the Humber and the Tees. This year being Bradford city of culture year he has turned his attention to closer to home (which is Saltaire). He is still concentrating on the industry and buildings such as the mills, canals and the people that make things work. His main subject still remains where the land meets the sea and the work that is carried out there.
