Stuart’s ceramic work is hand built, he does not throw preferring to change the shape and form of his work as each piece develops. He does this by squashing the clay or twisting it about a central axis so that every piece is unique. He uses a combination of texture, slip and glaze, firing to a high temperature to decorate his work.
Stuart produces pots that have definite uses and are a beautiful addition to the home or garden. He makes a range of containers that include jugs, flowerpots, sink tidys, toothbrush holders, plant pot holders and vases.
