Cerys’ art is an expression of the self, working with geometric shapes and figures in abstract spaces, letting the hand lead the brain with an idea in that moment. Her work is built up using layers, working with a vibrant palette. Using the use of colour to create mood and emotion in her pieces.
Inspired by the excitement and joy of the 80s American art scene where new styles of art started to emerge and combining her deep connection of music. Whilst experimenting with a range of ways to apply paint to canvas incorporating both acrylic & spray paint.
