COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT MANAGER
Part-time, fixed-term, freelance contract
Saltaire Inspired are recruiting a part-time Community Engagement Manager to work within our small team of freelance staff, supported by trustees.
The Community Engagement Manager works with the trustees to lead on extending Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity within Saltaire Inspired’s programme and strategic planning, and ensures that community engagement is at the heart of what we do by creating community engagement events and routes into our organisation. This includes the organisation and administration of our annual Living Advent Calendar event, developing and managing a team of volunteers, and delivering community engagement events, as well as leading on data collection for reporting to BMDC and other funding bodies.
This role would suit someone with a strong understanding of the wider Bradford community and cultural landscape.
Saltaire Inspired are a volunteer-led charity that creates and delivers visual arts events in and around the unique spaces of the World Heritage village of Saltaire and Shipley, working with a range of partners locally, nationally and internationally and contributing to Bradford’s strategic plan ‘Culture is Our Plan’ and to Bradford 2025.
