Adele Karmazyn

Adele is a York based Digital Photomontage Artist. Her ever growing collection of 19th century photographs is where she chooses her characters, extracting them and intertwining them with delicate foliage and rich pattern, she creates images both sophisticated and playful.

It is ultimately the love of the Victorian era that drives Adele to create the images she does, with the added freedom to insert an element of playful surprise. Her images are created using her digital camera, flatbed scanner and Photoshop. She then prints the image on to Heritage archival paper and continues to hand finish.
