Aleema Aziz

Aleema is a Bradford-based artist with a background in architecture, so her art draws inspiration from geometry and architectural forms as well as the optical illusion work of Victor Vasarely.

While she works predominantly with acrylic paint on canvas, she occasionally introduces embroidery thread into her paintings to add another dimension and a textural element. Although the pieces have a slight variation in style, they all feature bold colours and hard-edge painting techniques.
