Angie Hughes

Predominantly a machine embroiderer Angie has recently moved to collage, mixing paper, textile and stitch. Inspired by many subjects from celestial events, foreign climes and closer to home, gardens and natural forms. The interest in collage came from research for her other work, teaching textile workshops on Zoom. She uses a broad range of methods from mono and block printing, heat transfer techniques like foiling all finished off with her favourite machine embroidery.
