Anna is a self-taught paper cutter with a background in printmaking. Initially creating one dimensional work she now specialises in multilayered pieces that she designs, draws, and cuts with a scalpel. Using tonal papers and embossing tools, Anna sculpts the paper to create depth and movement before carefully layering each piece into box frames.
She draws inspiration from the natural world and its inhabitants, striving to capture the personalities of the subjects in their natural habitat.
