Carol Rogerson Ceramics

Carol’s work draws inspiration from the colours, silhouettes shapes and industrial architecture of the North. This influence takes form through her deliberate choice of earthy red stoneware and the contrasting qualities of silky-smooth porcelain. The vibrant and rich colours of her glazes are skilfully achieved by firing a gas kiln in a reduction atmosphere, making this phase, for Carol, the most thrilling and unpredictable part of her creative journey.
