Crafted Creatures
Saltaire born and based artist Jayne Tunnicliffe creates unique hand stitched animal head wall mounted soft sculptures. Using a mix of upcycled and new fabrics, she creates colourful and beautiful creatures using pattern, texture and hand painted details such as antlers.
Her inspiration ranges from West Yorkshire’s wool heritage and the local environment, to pop culture icons such as David Bowie. Tim Burton’s influence can also be seen, as well as Mexican and folk art influences.
ayne has created custom window displays for Ted Baker and social media/TV star Benny Drama.
