Galea’s work is inspired by nature and principally made for gardens. Her collections satisfy the growing trend towards sustainable home and garden wares. Frost and fade proof, her work provides colour outdoors, on patios, balconies or indoors. Their long life span saves on energy, materials and waste. She uses only UK sourced clays and glazes, replacing plastic garden decor and having a lower carbon footprint than imported ceramics from Eastern Europe and the Far East. She doesn’t use moulds, so each of her pieces is individually made, unique and she couldn’t make an identical one, even if she tried.
