Harbour Art Glass
Josh of Harbour Art Glass is a kiln-formed glass artist inspired by linear and geometric patterns. Specialising in vitrigraph murrine — a centuries-old Venetian technique reinterpreted using a vitrigraph kiln, he stacks layers of coloured glass into terracotta pots and draws them in molten form from the kiln. This creates intricate rods of glass embedded with internal patterns, which are then sliced, arranged, and transformed through multiple kiln firings into bespoke glass sheets.
Made in his North Yorkshire studio, Josh’s work includes glass vessels, wall pieces, and dishes made from his bespoke vitrigraph murrine and artistic sheet glass.
