Helen explores the themes of nature and the environment through her paintings, whether it be the beauty of landscape, flora or fauna. Colour and light are explored using a variety of media from traditional oil, acrylic paint, coloured pencils and mixed media.

Helen’s recent focus has been on animals, but she also enjoys creating landscapes and local scenes. She aims for some realism but uses colour and texture to present her subjects in interesting ways.

Helen will undertake commissions of all subjects from photographs on request.
