Helen explores the themes of nature and the environment through her art, whether it be the beauty of a landscape or plant, or animals and birds. She explores colour and light using a variety of media ranging from traditional oil and acrylic paint to mixed media and Pyrography.
Helen aims for realism but uses colour and texture to present her subject in different and novel ways. She enjoys creating portraits of animals and will undertake commissions on request.
Helen exhibits locally in Hampshire and Surrey and is secretary for Fleet Art Society.
