In the Making: Shipley College Art & Design

Final year, level 3 Art and Design students at Shipley College have been creating work across a wide range of contemporary craft disciplines – including printmaking, bookbinding and ceramics. Linocuts inspired by the surrounding Yorkshire landscape, screen printed designs inspired by nature adorn artworks and tote bags, handmade decks of playing cards and ceramic bowls are available for sale. Whilst pursuing their own ideas and processes as individual makers, the students have collaborated to create a coherent body of work that celebrates the skills they have developed throughout their course. Students who have been working in fine art and graphic design directions will also be exhibiting their work in Shipley College.
