Jade Marczynski

Jade’s work focuses on the architecture and design of local independent businesses in and around Bradford and the locality. Using visits and photographs as a starting point, she hand embroiders all of her pieces in an illustrative style, focusing on the quirks and individuality of the buildings and businesses.

She graduated from the University of Huddersfield, achieving her degree in Textile Crafts in 2010. Since graduating, Jade has previously taken part in exhibitions locally, with a commissioned piece exhibited at Cartwright Hall. She has also previously exhibited in her first solo exhibition.
