James Gasston – Volunteer & Living Advent Calendar Coordinator

Volunteer Coordinator James is our newest team member, having joined Saltaire Inspired in May 2025, just three weeks before the Arts Trail. He really had to hit the ground running to make sure we had lots of wonderful volunteers ready and able to help make the event one of the best yet. He also has responsibility for producing the Living Advent Calendar.

James has an illustration degree and has tried to maintain a practice ever since, occasionally branching out into things like printmaking. His other passion is film, and to such an extent that he runs pop-up cinema events in Brighton and Leeds.
