As a sculptor and designer working with ceramics and concrete, Jo’s work spans functional tableware to design-led object collections and one-off sculptural art works. Inspired by architecture and Japanese minimalism her practice explores form, texture, and the expressive qualities of raw materials.
Jo exhibits internationally and was recently recognised at the London Sculpture Prize 2025 exhibition, where she received an award for her work. Her pieces are available from her studio at Sunny Bank Mills, Farsley and via her website. She welcomes commissions and collaborative projects. Alongside her studio practice, Jo teaches workshops in ceramics, concrete, and mould making.
