As a designer-maker and sculptor working with ceramics and concrete, Jo’s work ranges from handmade tableware to collections of original design objects and one-off sculptural art works. Her work is influenced by architecture and minimal Japanese style and highlights the tactile surfaces of materials while exploring space and form.
Jo makes work to commission, exhibits internationally and enjoys working collaboratively on projects. Her work is available for purchase from her studio at Sunnybank Mills, Farsley and via her website. As part of her freelance practice, Jo also teaches ceramics, concrete and mould making workshops.
