Katie’s creative practice is located at the intersection of climate justice, health and the Arts with a proven passion for designing better ways for planet and communities.
Katie has a background in palliative care nursing, regenerative farming and permaculture and now works part time as a freelance artist, facilitator and small scale events producer, while living with chronic illness. The wisdom from these diverse yet connected life experiences form the stories of her hand drawn illustrations.
BRADFORD-BASED ARTIST: Our programme always features a wealth of locally-based talent, and we are especially proud to champion local artists this year, as we celebrate Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture.
