Keith Shorrock Shaker Boxes
Most of Keith’s work is based on the traditional Shaker boxes. Originally, they were just for storage long before we had plastic, but he likes to experiment!
Keith makes a lot of work for people who sew, sewing boxes – large and small – pincushions and a large range of useful general boxes. He likes to use fabric in and on his boxes. He is particularly fascinated with Kimono silk fabric at the moment. Keith hasalso started looking at gilding, which has lots of potential.
