Kim Jenkins
Kim is a printmaker working mainly in Lino, drypoint and collagraph . She is a nature and bird enthusiast which is reflected in her work. Her main influences are Eastern European Folk Art and Inuit Printmaking. She loves the drawn line and simple use of shapes and colours. Kim has spent some time in Eastern Europe visiting strange and wonderful museums. All her characters are based on people she has met on her travels. Each print has a story to tell.
Kim’s greetings cards are hand-printed using a traditional foil blocking press. Printing them herself means she can change colour ways and do small runs; always something different!
