Kim Jenkins
Kim’s handprinted greetings cards and prints intertwine the wild and the characterful. In striking minimal deep tones, Kim’s intricately carved illustrations full of pattern and texture capture character, mood and movement in a powerful majestic way. She is influenced by Folk Art and Inuit printmaking.
Working mainly in relief , collagraph and drypoint she makes most of her prints on the kitchen table by handburnishing.
“I love the drawn line. I like the simplicity of shape and colours. I love the outdoors and nature and Folk Art”.
