Lucky Bird
Kim Jenkins was born in Hull and studied at Camberwell College of Art in London. She specialises in Lino Cut but is now experimenting more with collagraph and drypoint often combining the techniques in one print.
Ideas for her prints can come from almost anywhere, inspired by her travels and the world around her. Each print has a story. She is a nature enthusiast which features a lot in her work. Her main influences are Eastern European Folk Art and Inuit Printmaking. She loves the drawn line, simple shapes and bold use of colour.
“With Nature you are never alone!”
