LS Ceramics was founded by Lee Simmonds when his passion for Ceramics wasignited whilst travelling around Oaxaca, Mexico. A maker whose work is distinctive, precise and meticulously perfected by hand. Ensuring a truly unique touch to eachpiece he creates. Exploring glazing techniques to further enhance the aesthetic beauty of each creation.
From the Leeds based studio, LS Ceramics explores all hand building techniques to make functional Homeware items and highly desirable one-off Decorative pieces.
LS Ceramics’ shapes, colour ways and surfaces often reference the natural environment of Yorkshire’s many national parks. Coupled with a love for modern art, strong colour ways and graphical styles, he is constantly exploring how they can beused in a contemporary ceramics studio.
