Lesley is an artist based in North Yorkshire on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Also a keen gardener, the plants she grows, the surrounding countryside and the wildlife characteristic of the area inspire her work. She enjoys the detail and depth of colour that colour pencils allow her to achieve as well as the stylised, but also detailed, approach of scraperboard.
