Louise Crookenden Johnson Ceramics
Louise Crookenden-Johnson creates cheerful, handmade pottery gifts and home décor in Kettering, Northamptonshire. Inspired by a local potter in her teens and refined through a Ceramics degree at Loughborough College of Art (1987–1991), her work is celebrated for its playful charm, bespoke designs, and signature breezy illustrative style.
Her popular collections feature characterful animals and birds blending a retro feel with a modern twist. Made in her light-filled garden studio, her creative process embraces reclaimed treasures like her Grandma’s comfy armchair.
Louise also offers pottery classes and hands-on ‘throw a pot’ sessions for beginners.
