Mandy Benton Printmaker
Mandy is a Birmingham based printmaker who creates original, small edition linocut prints. She loves the almost meditative process of carving and the boldness of a single block print on a beautiful handmade paper.
Each of Mandy’s pieces is made by hand and begins with her own sketches and templates. Her inspirations are constant – she is hugely inspired by the natural world and its changing seasons and by the important people around her. Loving the combination of image and text, Mandy’s own cursive writing frequently plays an integral part in her work.
