Sarah Harris

Sarah Harris is a Bradford born artist who creates small edition, hand pulled screen prints from her studio in Rawdon. Focusing on depicting Yorkshire landscapes, her work is regularly inspired by her upbringing in Shipley, depicting places she feels a connection to and often revisiting these subjects, such as Saltaire and Shipley Glen Tramway.

Harris looks to transport the viewer to a memory through her work, believing in the importance of the connections of people and place. How we remember a place is an important factor in each print, in recollecting colour as well as space.
