Sarah enjoys exploring themes of forgotten story, folklore, history, the land and dreamscape in her work with a keen emphasis on ceramic and textile discipline with her current focus in handmade slipware and embroideries. Most of her ideas and musings come together first in free form machine embroideries. Some parts of these develop further into ceramics where the body becomes a canvas to glaze and hand illustrate, exploring these themes further.
