Wendy Robinson

Wendy has been out after dark against all advice. The project began in January 2023 and involved exploring dimly lit places, bitter temperatures and often alone. She found the winter night-time landscape unexpectedly serene. Wendy says that the town seems less lit in these times of rising energy prices but there are places that invite by offering pools of light. She also adventured into darker out-of-the-way areas which was challenging but beautiful at the same time. She invites you to see Shipley and Saltaire with fresh eyes.
