Janet Leitch Jewellery

Janet is originally from West Yorkshire. She went to Sheffield to study silversmithing and jewellery and is still based there. A lot of her work focuses on contrasting textures, many of which have been inspired by Yorkshire’s natural and manmade scenery. Her jewellery making technique has developed over the years, allowing her to create contemporary pieces which attract both silver and gold jewellery wearers. Her jewellery blends both precious metals using the ancient Korean technique of Keum Boo to combine the metals and create a style unique to her work. Some designs have been further enhanced with oxidisation to accentuate the textures.
