Jill Stewart

Jill Stewart lives and works in rural Northumberland and handmakes jewellery and clocks, also sometimes small metal birds and animals. She works in mixed metals- silver, brass and copper with blue titanium, to use the contrasts produced by the different metal surfaces. Etching and surface marks add pattern and texture, and heat effects heighten the contrasts, and add variable colour. The clocks in particular make special gifts.
