Galina Titova

Galina Titova is a textile artist based in York. She works in a traditional wet felting technique creating unique felted sculptures and pieces of wearable art.

Drawing inspiration from architectural forms found in nature she designs and makes sculptural textile pieces on large and small scale. Images of sea creatures are used as a source of her studies of form, colour and texture. Marine life is an endless source of inspiration because of its beauty and diversity.
