Jane Charles – Smallbean Stitchings
Jane has been making quirky stitched things for quite a long time. She loves to collect and celebrate heritage fabrics, creating her famous ‘cotton reel trees’ from fabrics that ‘speak tree’ as well as her own lino print designs.
Working with vintage and reclaimed fabrics, Jane also makes quirky fabric clocks and sewing room treasures. Her eco printing collection celebrates the natural world and vintage inspired embroidery.
She regularly runs workshops in eco printing, batik and loves to create outside installations inspired by historical settings.
