Brightmore Ideas is the creative work of Leeds-based leather artisan Alex Brightmore. Driven by respect for the material in a throwaway culture, Alex creates original designs that give new life to what might otherwise be wasted.

Supporting local businesses where possible, leather is sourced from J. Wood in Keighley and offcuts rescued through Scrap in Farsley. Each piece is hand-cut, hand-punched, and secured with traditional saddle stitch—no machines, no templates, no shortcuts. The result is a collection that stands apart from fast fashion: unique pieces for original people, crafted to last.
