Jo Williams Ceramics
Jo makes wheel thrown functional decorative earthenware pots for interiors. Jo uses a white grogged clay that is decorated on the outer surface with oxides and contrast this with a satin glaze for the inner surface. Jo scuffs the outside of the pots with sandpaper then apply the oxides which turn inky in the kiln giving a powerful but soft mark.
