Jo Williams Ceramics
Jo makes contemporary decorative thrown ceramic vessels for interior spaces. Vessels are thrown, sometimes altered, surfaces refined to achieve a velvet like surface on which to decorate using rich oxides. Different patterns are applied and then fired to reveal deep, inky marks as the oxide bleeds slightly during the firing. The inside is glazed in white satin glaze.
