6David Elliott
Village General Store, 1 Daisy Place (closes at 4pm Sun & Mon)
Working with wood and natural materials, David explores rhythm, texture, and movement. He translates repeating patterns found in music—where variation emerges within structure and order—into physical form. His relief sculptures provide viewers with an interactive experience in which the eye travels through the work, tracing rhythmic patterns and moving between elements in an unprescribed order.
David also creates pieces inspired by nature’s interaction with physical structures, exploring the tension between organic growth and human-made order. These works reflect quiet acts of persistence—organic forms pressing through rigid structures.
