For this project, students from the Foundation Degree in Textiles Practice at Bradford School of Art took the theme of ‘habitat’, considering what that might mean to different people, animals or plants. They explored how we create connection and a sense of place in the domestic and architectural spaces of Saltaire, as well as wildlife habitats, urban green spaces and rewilding.
FdA Textiles Practice is a unique part-time programme, for those wishing to develop professional practice in textile art, contemporary craft and design. The course is designed for those from non-traditional learning routes and learners who need to organise study flexibly.
