Andrea Hobson (Resident Artist)

Andrea Hobson’s art focuses primarily on the landscapes she encounters in her day-to-day life. She works with acrylics in a semi-abstract style and her recent works lean towards Fauvism, in their use of strong colours and bold compositions.

Her paintings showing in Saltaire Arts Trail have all been made since she moved to Saltaire in September 2023, where she has been painting the parks, woodlands and recreational spaces close to her home in the heart of the village.
