Anna Kornatovska
Anna is an MA Visual Arts student with a degree in Photography. Anna’s work is a synthesis of visual art and means of self–transformation.
The project What I’m Silent About began as a path to explore the hidden feelings of the artist. Eventually, it led to new findings – art is a powerful tool not only for self-expression and self-exploration but also for self-transformation. At its current stage, the project is aimed at identifying destructive feelings and beliefs within the unconscious of the artist and converting them into positive ones through the media of art underpinned with philosophical and psychological theories. The works are a combination of photography, text, cyanotype, and printmaking intended to create visual triggers provoking desired positive emotions and mindset.
