Anna-Lisa Smith

Anna-Lisa runs her small design studio from Marsden, West Yorkshire. She specialises in contemporary woven homeware which is designed in the studio and then woven and finished using local mills in West Yorkshire and Lancashire. Since 2024 she has also been knitting accessories on her vintage Brother knitting machine from the studio. She uses only the highest quality merino wool and draws inspiration from Bauhaus, modern architecture, Gees Bend Quilts and Mid-Century modern design. Colour inspiration comes from her daily walks on the Yorkshire moors, and Post-Impressionism.
