Bronte Adam
Bronte has a background in commercial textiles and printmaking. Her recent body of work is inspired by time spent along the coast of Baja, Mexico. Bronte embraces the sensory experience of living in a totally new environment and culture. Through bold colour and stylised characters, Bronte explores personal narratives and observations in nature.
Bronte is a relief printmaker using predominantly lino and woodblock. As a rebellion to the throw away culture and mass consumerism of the modern world, Bronte embraces the process of slow craftsmanship and hand printing. She creates small print batches uniquely coloured with hand painted elements.
BRADFORD-BASED ARTIST: Our programme always features a wealth of locally-based talent, and we are especially proud to champion local artists this year, as we celebrate Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture.
