Elisabeth Hawkes Jewellery

Working from home near Ripon, Elisabeth combines textile techniques with traditional silversmithing to create unique pieces of jewellery, hand-crafted in fine and sterling silver. Her inspiration comes from a fascination in rivers, particularly the patterns on the surface of water and the irregular shapes of rock at the water’s edge.

Elisabeth also has a love of textiles and knits with silver wire. Many of the pieces in her collection feature embossed fine silver knitting on to pieces of silver sheet. This work is combined with signature, irregular shapes created from sterling silver wire and sheet.
