Ellen Pearce-Davies Ceramics

Ellen is inspired her background in geography and environmental sciences, utilising natural and reclaimed materials to create functional art for everyday life. Supported by her training in Japan, she combines traditional craft techniques with the energy and community available through material and knowledge networks of modern cities to make work technically diverse yet materially rooted in place.

All her pieces are made to be used, and she aims to maintain the tactility of the materials she uses in her finished pieces.
