Jane Duke

Jane Duke is a fine art printmaker working in a range of relief and intaglio methods, producing both delicately shaded and vibrantly coloured original prints. Jane also handprints her designs on textile items for the home.
During lockdown Jane’s work developed a particular focus on her local environment and observation of the changing seasons as experienced through her daily walks. Recent work documents this using her characteristically unconventional approach to reduction linoprint, working with subtle shading, blending and overlapping translucent layers.
