Lil’ Rabbitfoot
Samantha Yates is a glass artist based in Shipley, West Yorkshire. She uses the pseudonym Lil’ Rabbitfoot. She creates beautiful glass flowers and foliage to share the emotions of love & joy and show her appreciation of the natural environment. Her flowers are rich in individual character, both naive & fun, revealing the simple beauty of nature and the happiness it can bring. Working with copper-foil techniques she playfully explores the limitations of her materials & techniques, presenting glass to the light through different botanical forms, patterns & structures.
Samantha is studying Stained Glass Conservation at York University.
